Every successful Campaign needs its leaders. The following community leaders are helping us realize our ambitions with the re:vitalize Campaign.

Frank McKenna
Deputy Chair, TD Bank Financial Group
re:vitalize Campaign Honourary Chair
Frank McKenna was appointed Deputy Chair of TD Bank Financial Group on May 1, 2006. He is responsible for supporting the Bank in its customer acquisition strategy, particularly in the area of Wholesale and Commercial Banking.
Frank has held numerous leadership positions in both the public and private sector. For a decade (1987-1997) he was Premier of New Brunswick, having earned three consecutive majority governments, including the historic victory in 1987
of all 58 seats in the legislature. The McKenna government significantly improved the province's standard of living
and quality of life. Among its accomplishments, it balanced budgets, pioneered e-government services, attracted innovative industry clusters and improved educational outcomes. Frank also played a central role on the national stage, where among other initiatives, became a lead advocate for the Canada-US Free Trade Agreement.
Prime Minister Martin nominated Frank as Canadian Ambassador to the United States of America in 2005, where he was charged to navigate contentious bilateral issues related to trade and security. In 2006, Frank resigned this position upon change of national government.
In the private sector, Frank is in wide demand as a corporate director. Currently he sits on the boards of Canadian Natural Resources and Brookfield Asset Management, where he is the lead director. He has also been Chairman of the Board of CanWest Global and served on the Boards of Noranda, Shoppers Drug Mart and General Motors.
Frank is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University as well as Queen's University, where he completed his post-graduate degree in political science and the University of New Brunswick Law School. He is the recipient of eight honourary doctorates.
Frank and his wife Julie have three grown children and six grandchildren.

Richard J. G. Boxer
President, Buckingham Capital Corporation
Richard Boxer is President of Buckingham Capital Corporation, a Toronto based business which provides capital and advice to early stage Canadian businesses. Mr Boxer is on the board of many organizations in both the public and private sectors and is also involved as a board member in three not-for-profit organizations. He was one of the founders of the Toronto Public Library Foundation and has had a long-time involvement with both the Toronto Public Library and the Foundation.

Wendy Cecil
President, Brookmoor Enterprises Ltd.
Wendy Cecil is President of Brookmoor Enterprises Ltd., Vice-Chair of St. Michael's Hospital, Chair of Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute Advisory Board, Honorary Governor of the Olympic Trust of Canada and Director of the Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation and of Mount Pleasant Group
of Cemeteries (MPGC), a not-for-profit corporation.
She is Past Chair of the University of Toronto Governing Council and, of Branksome Hall School and a founding member and former Chair of St. Michael's Hospital Foundation Board.
Additionally, she has served as a board member with the Royal Ontario Museum, Canadian Opera Company, Canadian Stage, YMCA of Metropolitan Toronto and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation where she was also a founding member. She is an Associate Senior Fellow at Massey College and received an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from the University of Toronto.

Lawson A.W. Hunter
Counsel, Stikeman Elliott LLP
Lawson Hunter is one of Canada's pre-eminent regulatory and government relations counsel, drawing on a wide range of experience in business, government and private practice. Formerly Canada's senior civil servant in charge of competition policy and enforcement, Mr. Hunter was primarily responsible for the drafting of the federal Competition Act. From 1993 to 2003 he was a Partner of Stikeman Elliott and head of the firm's Competition Group. From 2003 to 2008 he served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Corporate Officer of Bell Canada and BCE Inc., where he was responsible for over-seeing regulatory, governmental relations and corporate affairs. In September 2008, he rejoined the Ottawa office of Stikeman Elliott as Counsel.

William W. "Bill" Linton
Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Rogers Communications Inc
Bill Linton, a Chartered Accountant, was appointed Chief Financial Officer, Rogers Communications Inc. in 2006,
a position he assumed after Rogers acquired Call-Net Enterprises Inc., of which Mr. Linton was President and
Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Linton has garnered extensive experience in the technology and communications sectors over the span of his career. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prior Data Services, Inc., Mr. Linton managed
the sale of the company to X-wave Solutions. At SHL Systemhouse Inc., Mr. Linton served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, prior to which, for sixteen years, he rose through increasingly senior roles
at Rogers Wireless and Rogers Cable, serving as Chief Financial Officer for both organizations.
Mr. Linton has a bachelor of commerce degree from St. Mary's University and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Toronto Public Library Foundation was established in 1997 as a registered charity governed by its own Board of Directors. Our mission is to foster relationships
with people of vision to provide Toronto's Library with essential resources for the enhancement of Library collections, programs and services, and community spaces,
and to allocate funds to priority needs not supported by municipal funding.
The Foundation believes that the character and quality of a city depends on the resources available to its people. We believe that a great Library is a fundamental requirement for any city to achieve its full social and economic potential. We believe
that Toronto's Library is vital to the city, and vital to support.
Since its inception, Toronto Public Library Foundation has raised over $33 million in support of Toronto's Library.

The Toronto Reference Library revitalization project is being spearheaded by Moriyama & Teshima Architects and led by Ajon Moriyama, the son of Raymond Moriyama, who designed the Toronto Reference Library in 1977.
Moriyama & Teshima has been delivering high-quality, sustainable and award-winning architecture and landscape architecture/environmental planning and design services for over 50 years. The company has been particularly engaged by community centered projects and 'Places for Learning' including museums, science centres, libraries, cultural and faith facilities, and school, college and university buildings and master plans.
From such landmark projects as the New Canadian War Museum in Ottawa (boasting the largest green roof in Canada), the Aga Khan Delegation Building in Ottawa, the Saudi National Museum in Riyadh, the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, and the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto, to visionary master plans, including the bio-remediation of a 120km stretch of the Wadi Hanifah river system in Saudi Arabia and – currently – the company's work in master planning The Holy Cities of Makkah, Moriyama & Teshima's work exemplifies its commitment to land, nature, site and context; to community needs and perspectives; and to design and service delivery excellence.
