During the past three years, the Toronto Reference Library has been undergoing a transformation, all the while staying open to public.
- In 2009, The Bram & Bluma Appel Salon, a new literary hotspot for free high profile cultural programming, opened to great acclaim.
- In December 2011 a soaring new glass entrance Cube opened creating a dynamic new gateway to one of our City's best-loved and best-used public institution.
- In January 2012 other new and renovated Main and Second Floor elements - including an expanded TD Gallery and Browsery - followed.
